Wood Watches: Minimalistic & Unique Timepieces

I have always loved the look of a good watch, but I have not been the biggest purchaser when it comes to this particular accessory.

My everyday watch has been my Apple Watch since the day I bought it. Being a graduate student and working in a college environment my need for a watch has increased more than I have ever realized. I am constantly on my phone, answering emails, and looking at my wrist to make sure I make it to class and/or a meeting on time. Being in a college environment, my everyday work attire can range from business casual to casual. On most days, my Apple Watch fits the look that I am going for. However, I have been in search for a watch that goes with my minimalistic style and can dress up my look any day of the week. When JORD reached out to me, I immediately fell for the unique timeless effect that their wood watches provide.

THE FRANKIE

I absolutely fell in love with the combination of the dark sandalwood and emerald of the Frankie watch. The emerald face was the main reason why this particular watch caught my attention, because this color is perfect for the transition to the fall season! I find this piece to be the perfect accessory, when I want to dress up my business casual looks for either a work day or a weekend filled with events. I love the look of oversized fashion pieces without being bulky and The Frankie does not disappoint. This particular JORD watch does not weigh down my wrist and it provides the right touch of elegance.
