Duke Identity and Culture Center Graduation Celebration Video
I shot and edited this video to capture the graduation ceremonies for the Duke Identity and Culture Centers, showcasing the diverse achievements and cultural pride of the Class of 2025. The final piece reflects the sense of belonging and inclusive excellence at Duke.
Video production is one of my core strengths, and I have had the opportunity to lead several projects from start to finish, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure that each video tells a compelling and engaging story. Whether capturing a student’s experience or producing educational modules, my focus is on creating high-quality, engaging content that excites and resonates with the target audience.
FROSH 101
Student Experience Video
This video was created for the FROSH 101 course, an introductory program designed to help new students transition to Duke and Durham. The video aimed to highlight the opportunity for students to register for this student-led course, which plays a key role in fostering a sense of community and providing critical resources for incoming students.
Responsibilities:
Video Production: Led the entire process, from concept development and scriptwriting to filming, audio capture, and post-production editing.
Photography: Captured key moments throughout the process to complement the video content and provide still imagery for promotional materials.
Collaborative Efforts: Worked closely with the FROSH 101 team and other university departments to ensure the video effectively communicated the course’s value and mission.
Project Duration: This 4-month project involved significant planning, coordination, and revisions to ensure the final product was impactful and aligned with university standards.
Impact: The video has been widely shared at university events, serving as a key promotional tool for potential and new students and their families. It has contributed to increased awareness and registrations for the FROSH 101 course.
This video was featured in an article about the course and its importance for new students. The combination of video and written content allowed us to reach a broader audience and deepen the engagement with prospective students.

Graduate & Professional Students Platform Modules
I served as both the producer and consultant for the Graduate & Professional Students Platform Modules project, overseeing the creation of eight video modules designed to help incoming graduate and professional students transition smoothly into academic and social life at Duke. In my role as a consultant, I ensured that the overall platform and video content aligned with Duke’s brand, collaborating with graduate and professional schools to maintain consistency across the university’s resources.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Production: Managed all aspects of the video production, including location scouting, scriptwriting, filming, audio recording, and final editing.
Consultant Role: Worked closely with instructional designers and university departments to ensure the platform’s look and feel aligned with Duke’s standards, particularly in terms of visual design, user interface, and content structure.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborated with graduate and professional schools, managing multiple stakeholders to ensure the final product met the needs of diverse academic audiences.
Project Duration: The project spanned 6 months, from the initial consulting phase to the final delivery of eight video modules.
Impact:
The video modules provided essential support for students, offering valuable insights into life at Duke and in Durham. Testimonials from students and staff praised the high quality of the videos, emphasizing how the content made it easier for students to absorb critical information during their transition.
The modules were successfully integrated into the university’s broader onboarding programs, becoming a key resource for incoming graduate and professional students.
