Summer Leather
First, I was saying all black in the summer...now leather? Yes that is right...leather! Now, I am not talking about pulling out your leather jacket and leather pants, putting both on and going on about your day...that would be crazy. Instead, I want to show you all that it is possible to make most of your leather pieces work, not necessarily all together, but instead as accent or main pieces for your look. Like I did here: I paired this cute faux leather mini skirt with a short sleeve v neck. This is easily a look that I would put on for a night out or an evening dinner. Do avoid wearing more than one piece of leather and stray away from leather dresses/pants (if you are planning on being outside and it is 100 degrees). Pull your leather look by pairing it with lighter fabrics, like chiffon and/or silk, to make it "summer friendly". As I stated when making all black work, leather can work for you in the heat...as long as your put the right pieces together, you got it.
